2 Days
Day 1 You’ll be picked up from your hotel in Bali in the evening and driven to Gilimanuk Port. After crossing by ferry to Java, you’ll continue the journey to Mount Ijen’s base camp. Around 2 AM, you’ll start the hike to see the famous Blue Fire and watch the sunrise over the crater lake. After the trek, enjoy breakfast at a local restaurant, then drive to the Mount Bromo area and check in to your hotel for some rest. Day 2 Before dawn, you’ll ride a 4WD jeep to King Kong Hill to catch the sunrise over Mount Bromo. Afterward, visit the crater, climb to the rim, explore the Whispering Sand and Luhur Temple, then enjoy breakfast at a local restaurant. Once finished, you’ll be driven back to Bali, Surabaya, or Malang, depending on your drop-off preference.
3 Days
Day 1 Your journey begins with an evening pick-up from your hotel in Bali, followed by a drive to Gilimanuk Port and a short ferry ride to East Java. Once on the island, you’ll head straight to Mount Ijen’s basecamp. After a coffee break, you’ll begin the early morning hike to witness the rare Blue Fire phenomenon and see the sulfur miners at work. After enjoying sunrise at the crater, you’ll descend the mountain and have breakfast before continuing the trip to the Tumpak Sewu area, where you’ll check into your hotel and rest for the night. Day 2 After breakfast, the day starts with a short drive to the iconic Tumpak Sewu Waterfall. You’ll spend the morning exploring the area, taking in the incredible views of this multi-tiered waterfall surrounded by jungle. Around midday, you'll continue the drive toward the Mount Bromo area. After a few hours on the road, you'll arrive, check in to your hotel, and rest up for the next day's early adventure. Day 3 An early start takes you by 4WD jeep to King Kong Hills Viewpoint to catch the famous Mount Bromo sunrise. After soaking in the morning views with a cup of coffee, you'll head down to the crater area, climb to the top of the volcano, and explore the surrounding whispering sands and Luhur Temple. The morning ends with breakfast at a local restaurant before you’re driven back to your next destination—Surabaya, Malang, or all the way back to Bali.
