This is an experiential tour where you’ll see not just the Valley Floor, but the outlying areas of the park that many tourists miss (by not having transportation or time). In the valley, you’ll have the opportunity to visit and photograph such famous highlights as Yosemite Falls (the tallest waterfall in North America), El Capitan, Half Dome, Bridalveil Fall, and Inspiration Point. Beyond the valley, you will take a trip to the awe-inspiring Glacier Point* and enjoy a hike among the Giant Sequoias*. You will have two days to explore, giving you more time and flexibility to see all the sights. Your guide stays with the group throughout the tour, providing valuable knowledge of the history of Yosemite and a more personal experience of the park during your trip. The many highlights of this tour along the South Coast of Iceland include visiting some of the most beautiful waterfalls in Iceland: Seljalandsfoss, Gljufrabui, and Skogafoss as well as the Black Beach of Reynisfjara and the amazing Jokulsarlon glacier lagoon. Also included is a 1.5-hour-long glacier walk on blue ice on the glacier Solheimajokull. Our glacier guides are professionals, and they will provide you with all the necessary safety gear (crampons, ice axes, etc) and teach you how to use them correctly. The scenery and views from the Glacier are stunning, and you will see the sculptures and the deep crevasses of the glacier ice very clearly. The tour includes accommodation for one night in a private room with shared bathrooms in a cozy guesthouse near the famous Seljalandsfoss waterfall and breakfast.
